FIRE RATED DOORS

Spanish Pueblo Doors have not been UL tested and are not labeled to pass all fire rated building codes. We do provide an option for fire rated applications that has been accepted in many residential projects, however we do not guarantee that our Fire Rated doors will pass all local building codes and in particular 1 hour Fire Rating requirements.

Most of our product line designs may be constructed in a ¾” thick facing which is applied to a 30 minute rated- solid core birch slab. The wood facing is typically on only one side of the door and all orders must specify which side of the door will show the facing ie., either the jamb side or hinge side of the prehung unit. The wood facing side may be textured and finished like any typical Spanish Pueblo Door order, and the flush birch side of the door will remain smooth sanded with a matching stain.
