POSTIGO DOORS & POSTIGO LITES

A Postigo Door refers to a "door within a door" in the Spanish tradition. Sometimes referred to as a "Speak-easy", the hinged postigo door with optional wrought iron grille may be incorporated into many of our door designs.

A Postigo Lite refers to a small inoperable window with fixed glass, available either arched top or square top which may also be added to many designs.

Wrought Iron Grills may be installed to accentuate postigo doors and postigo lites. You may choose either black wrought iron or rust patina. Our standard grills are designed to fit our standard 7”x9” Postigo doors. However, custom sizes are also available.
