BI-FOLD, BI-PASS, AND POCKET DOORS

Bi-fold and Bi-pass Units: may be ordered prehung on heavy duty rollers and track as Bi-fold or Bi-pass applications. Bi-fold units may be either 2 leaf bi-fold or 4 leaf bifold. For 2 leaf bi-fold units it is necessary to designate the direction that the hinged pair will open ie. either toward the right or toward the left. Bi-pass units are a pair prehung on track with one door sliding in front of the other.

Dutch Doors: Dutch doors may be ordered prehung for either Exterior or Interior use. Dutch door units may be ordered with or without an optional sold wood shelf. Our custom wood shelf design features traditional corbel shaped brackets that anchor the shelf to the bottom half of the dutch door. The shelf may be specified to extend on either the jamb side or the hinge side of the unit.

Pocket Doors: Pocket doors are simply individual door slabs that are installed into pocket door units that are typically framed into the wall during the framing stage of construction. Commercial pre-made pocket door units are readily available to framing constractors in most locales and are not supplied by Spanish Pueblo Doors at this time. All Pocket doors are shipped as individual door slabs. Pocket doors may be ordered in specific thicknesses for individual pocket applications: 1-3/8”, 1-1/2”, 1-3/4” up to 2-1/4” thick.
